Larry Kirby, PSD Social Events, Requests volunteers

Hi,
My name is Larry Kirby and I am the current president of the PSD
Social Committee. The Social Committee is an informal group of PSD
graduate students who plan events and outings for all PSD graduate
students and is funded through student fees paid by PSD graduate students
and returned to the division. In past years the social committee has
planned many different kinds of events such as sporting (Cubs, Bulls,
White Sox trips, etc), cultural events (trips to plays, operas, musicals,
concerts, etc), outdoor events (paintball, skiing trips, miniature golf,
etc), as well as Happy Hour and the Softball league. The committee meets
1-2 times a quarter with email conversations in between to decide on
events.

The committee is looking for people who would be interested in
helping out with in any form from full participation on the committee to
planning a single event (event planners get 2 free tickets). We will be
having an organizational meeting next Tuesday at noon in the RI student
lounge (directions below) and lunch will be provided. Hope to see you

to stairs/elevator on right. Take to 2nd floor, go left and then a quick
right and proceed all the way down to the end of the hallway. Go left,
